While California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declined to be in the newest Terminator movie, he gave the go-ahead for his image to be used in the film. The governator is just too busy helping run a state to take time off to film (despite doing so for the 3rd film), but said if they could do it with special effects they're welcome to do so.

Apparently images from the first film will be used for a cameo appearance in Terminator: Salvation, a prequel movie that is due for release on May 21.

"I made it very clear that I don't have the time to do the movie," he said during an "Ask the Governor" Webcast on Tuesday. "I said that I would be willing to be in the movie if they get the technology together, and so they are working on that right now."

Schwarzenegger said, in the scene, the main character would encounter him as a "future Terminator." The new film is a prequel to the popular series.
