Scientology Video Channel Launched

The Scientology web site was transformed last night into a
video channel.

“It’s been attacked, venerated, questioned and praised,” the
first video begins. “The adjectives used to describe it are many and varied.
It’s the only major new religion to have emerged in the 20th
Century.  People from all walks of life
use it every day.”

With some three hours of videos covering Scientology beliefs
and practices and the various community programs the Church sponsors, there is a
lot to watch.  And a lot to learn.

In one video, called “What Scientologists say about
Scientology” a dozen or so Scientologists, mostly young people, are
interviewed.  They talk about why they
decided to become Scientologists, what it means to them and the difference it
makes in their own lives.

Help seems to be a theme that runs through most of the
videos on the site.  As one
Scientologist says, “Part of being a Scientologist is being responsible for the
world around you.”  Whether it’s helping
kids stay off drugs, rehabilitating addicts, helping victims at times of
disaster, it’s clear Scientologists put “people” first.

The videos are available in English and subtitled in 15
other languages.

Boston
good stuff:

Thanks for posting this. It is a great new channel that people should look at before writing or forwarding misinformation.
