ABC announced on Thursday that season 8 of Scrubs will premiere Tuesday, January 6 at 9pm with back to back episodes. Fans will also get another set of back to back episodes the following week. The show's time slot afterwards will be 9:30pm with single episodes.

NBC cancelled the show last season and it was picked by ABC. This is expected to be the show's final season.

Last season was supposed to be the last, but the writer's strike interrupted the plans.
