The once ridiculously popular TV sitcom Seinfeld is coming back after an 11-year break ... well, sort of! Once named the greatest television program of all time, Seinfeld is making a comeback, but in a bizarre way -- the cast from Seinfeld will be brought together in a different show -- a comedy series called Curb Your Enthusiasm that airs on the HBO network.

Curb Your Enthusiasm stars Larry David, the writer and producer of Seinfeld. The show has been airing for six seasons. It is currently in its seventh season of production. The Seinfeld characters will appear over four episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The show promises to be an unusual experience for the viewers: it is said to be a complex mix of script and reality. The first episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm involving Seinfeld characters aired this Sunday, drawing 2.6 million viewers. Larry David himself said the reunion was a "blast."

The plot centres on David trying to get the four actors – Seinfeld himself, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards – to sign up for a reunion so that David can win back his on-screen wife by landing her a part on the reunion show.
This season, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards all appear as themselves. Larry's convinced them to do a reunion show, promising it won't be lame. Stay tuned to see if he can come through on his promise to the 'Seinfeld' cast... and to see if his plan to win back Cheryl with the role of George's ex-wife will pan out. The gang will be back in a few weeks.
