Sex and the City 2 with stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth, has only been filiming for a few days now (see Sarah Jessica in her sheer white dress), but fans seem to be going so crazy to get a glimpse of the stars that extra security has had to be brought in.

As early as 7am, fans were lining up along the set and disrupted filiming for the day.

"They looked more like they were protecting the President than Sarah Jessica Parker," said an onlooker at 84th St. and Park Ave., where the leggy leading lady was repeatedly being filmed hailing a cab. "At one point, teenage girls were practically trampling each other trying to get to Sarah Jessica as she was walking back to her trailer, but her security team was shoving everyone out of the way."

Sarah Jessica Parker asked her security not to hurt the fans as the guards were getting pretty rough, but it seems like that is what might be needed.
Yesterday, around 9:30am, fans were lined up on 52nd street where Chris Noth and Sarah Jessica Parker were filming inside an office building and security got anxious when a fan approached Noth for an autograph.
However, Noth was gracious and told security to back off.

Also yesterday, Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, had to be escorted back to her trailer when people were screaming and pushing to try and get to her. She had to cancel filming for that day as security was concerned that the fans were getting out of hand.

Should be a great movie when its done filming. I just hope the fans do not ruin any great shots that would have been because of some fans being over zealous about autographs.

yes, I agree - nothing like getting a second choice film, all because crazed fans would not co-operate!
