Shannon Doherty, aka Brenda Walsh, will be exiting 90210.  It looks like Brenda will only appear in four episodes.

While Shannen Doherty made a triumphant return to the nation's most famous ZIP code last week, Brenda Walsh's alter ego has announced that her comeback will be more short-lived than some fans may want, revealing that she is unlikely to appear in the new 90210 beyond the first four episodes.

"They asked me to do a lot more," Doherty told Entertainment Weekly, adding that it was scheduling conflicts with another gestating project that prevented her from continuing on as the relocated Minnesota twin.

"I'm in the middle of pitching a show, [so] I couldn't commit to more than [I did]."

90210’s ratings seem to be good enough for it to stick around for a while longer as well.   I personally think the show is so bad…it’s actually good!  I’ve watched both episodes so far, and it’s now my new Tuesday night delight.

Last week's two-hour series premiere averaged nearly 5 million viewers, becoming the CW's highest-rated scripted show ever. The show's second outing this week fell slightly to an average of just 3.3 million viewers, but maintained its stronghold on the coveted 18- to 34-year-old fairer-sex demographic.

I wonder if Tori Spelling, aka Donna Martin will think about coming back.  She was joining the cast…then she wasn’t…maybe she’ll re-consider now that Shannon is for sure leaving. What do you think - should she come back?

Spelling, 35, was brought on to the new "90210" to reprise her role of Donna Martin for "$10,000-$20,000" per episode, the Web site stated. Fellow original series stars, Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, are reportedly bringing in "$35,000-$50,000" per episode, the Web site reported.

After finding out about the difference in pay, Spelling reportedly demanded a paycheck equal to her former co-stars, but the network refused, Deadline Hollywood Daily reported.

"She thought she deserved parity, and she's got a point," an inside source told the Web site.

Well if she leaves the show that will give me a good reason not to watch the stupid show.  Because Shannen Doherty is the only reason I watch it.
