The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer, a Spin-Off Novel from the Third Twilight Book Eclipse Will be Available June 7 to Read for Free Online for About One Month
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner will be available in bookstores in the United Kingdom and North America on June 5th and this spin-off tale from famous Twilight author Stephanie Meyer, tells the story of Bree Tanner, one of the newborn vampires sent to fight Edward, Bella, and the rest of the Cullen clan in the third book.

The blurb on the book states:
Fans of The Twilight Saga will be enthralled by this riveting story of Bree Tanner, a character first introduced in Eclipse, and the newborn vampire world she inhabits. On June 7th 2010 the novel will be available at www.breetanner.com to read for free online until July 5th 2010. Meyer is said to be doing this as a special thank you to all her fans who have supported her books and her characters since Twilight first appeared on the scene. People will not be able to download the book, but you will be able to read it on the screen.
Meyer said: "I’m as surprised as anyone about this novella.
"When I began working on it in 2005, it was simply an exercise to help me examine the other side of Eclipse, which I was editing at the time.
"I thought it might end up as a short story that I could include on my website.

However, when Meyer wrote The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, she thought she could include it in that book, but as the information grew and the book became too long she decided to keep The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner as a short story on its own.
Fans are already excited about reading the latest novel from Stephanie Meyer in about two years.

i didn't get yet the chance to read the book and i am so anxious about it.Another book of Stephenie Meyer was all i needed so i can get back to that misterious and beautiful world.Kisses for the whole Twilight fans

I'm so looking forward to reading this book! It's been too long since she wrote another book. I also think she should continue with Midnight Sun, as many fans, like myself, are anticipating the completition. Go Twilight Saga!

Yes Stephanie Should Continue To Write MIDNIGHT SUN. I Would Be Very Disappointed To Hear That The Book Will Not Continue And The Movie Will Be Left As A Cliffhangger In The Book Way Iv Always Been Interested In What Goes On . On Edwards Side Of Things Its Not Just Bella That I Am Interested In. I Think That She Should Not Have Handed Out The Manuscript To Certain Individuals Whom She Says She '' Trusted'' She Should Continue Writing The Manuscript But Keep It To Herself When She Is Doing This. There Are Alot Of Poeple Upset About This Book Not Being Finished Its Fantastic That She Stephanie Meyer Has Decided That She Would Write Edwards View On Twilight It Would Be An Awesome Ending To One Of The Most Fantastic Young Stories Of An All Time Ending One That Would Not Be Forgotten In The Years To Come. We Should Encourage Stephanie As Much As Possible In The Situation!

First of all if you are not a twilight fan, why are you even on this page, and secondly you can't spell, finally why make nasty comments about the fans of twilight, I like Harry Potter as well, but even if I didn't I wouldn't tell you to get a life and wouldn't say that it was rubbish either

one question. if you hate twilight so much why are you looking it up? and i've read both, and frankly, i like both. they're totally different so you can't even begin to start on comparing them. and dont get me started on depth and meaning, these stories tackle teenage angst, true love, hell it even gets some shakespeare in there. if you hate it so much, get the hell of a twilight page and go read harry potter, maybe you'll find a life somewhere between the pages.

I have read the book, "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner" and found it compelling! Finished it in a couple hours. It's a must read before seeing the movie. Thats just my opinion.
