Showgirls 2 Trailer: Showgirls Sequel Trailer is NSFW and Weird

Showgirls 2 trailer is up on the official website showgirls2.com. You heard it right, there will be sequel of the 1995 movie Showgirls, at least it seem like the case.

According to a Germany website, Extratipp, Showgirls 2 is in the making after securing $25 million in financing.

An unknown eurocommodity named Marc Volander, according to German website Extratipp, had secured $25 million in financing and was hard at work on a follow-up that would revolve around the character of Hope, played in the original by noted German model/actress/vatever, Rena Riffel.

Showgirls 2 is about "a stripper who died from a dose of contaminated cocaine. Her brother comes to Frankfurt to find the responsible and revenge," reported JoBlo.com. In the beginning of the trailer, the name Geoff Schaaf shows up, and the only Geoff Schaaf I can find on IMDB is a cinematographer who have worked on quite a few TV shows.

The Showgirls 2 trailer is not impressive. It even made me doubt if there really is a Showgirls sequel. The trailer has a very retro low quality feel to it, but maybe that's how the director likes it. The trailer has a lot of nudity involved, and will auto-start in full screen and has no stop button, so make sure you are not at work (not in a bank at least).
