Hey check this out. I seen this on the news. Where I live the speed usually doesn't get faster than 40 mph. But in California, where it is bumper to bumper, they manage to get into six car pile ups. Just plain crazy.

According to reports by six car pile accident attorneys, there war a six car pile up on the 60 Freeway was caused by street racing, closing the westbound lanes of the freeway.
According to Supervising Dispatcher Bryan Webb of the Los Angeles County Fire Department it is believed two cars were racing on the Pomona Freeway, the pileup occurred at approximately 3:47 a.m. in the vicinity west of Indiana Street and the Long Beach Freeway. The crash occurred when one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle and caused several cars to collide.
Webb stated that after the crash at least one vehicle caught fire and witnesses to the crash assisted in pulling several of the victims from the vehicles on fire.
Officer David Porter of the California Highway Patrol stated that the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were closed from approximately 4:30 to 6:00 a.m. There was one person transported to the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and listed in critical condition, another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
