Using a fleet of Seven hot air balloons, artist Luke Jerram and composer and sound designer Dan Jones bring music to the skies of London with the Sky Orchestra. which took off at dawn and flew across the capital skies.

Each balloon has speakers attached which play a different element of a musical score, together creating an expansive audio landscape, possibly the largest sound works in the world.

Jones's music was specifically composed to travel through the air over long distances. The Sky Orchestra hopes their performance will inspire Londoners as they wake up Guardian
