Smallville Finale Was a Bit Disappointing!

Smallville was never a great show. It had a MILLION flaws. But it also had some amazing moments and interesting ideas. That's why many Superman fans, like myself, sticked with the show for 10 years. So, perhaps it was a mistake to got too excited to watch Clark Kent become the Man of the Steel. This is Smallville after all. We should have known that Tom Welling would never wear the full suit. We should have known that Darkseid would be defeated too easily. We should have known that the plot holes would be big ones. And yet, we got Clark Kent doing the shirt rip with John Williams' theme blasting through the speakers. I don't think I've ever been so conflicted watching a TV series before.

The series wasn’t supposed to just end with everything solved, but leaves all the holes open for future endevors. I’ll have to say that finale was epic, but I’m kind of disappointed that the series came to an end. But at least he finally took to the skies! The finale was everything I hoped for and more. My favorite show on TV was Smallville, but I don’t always get the chance to watch it Fridays on TV. I love the fact that I can use my DISH Network DVR to record Smallville and watch it on my iPhone using Sling Technology.
