Smashing Pumpkins Announce 20th Anniversary Shows

Smashing Pumpkins are to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a set of special shows.
The band, who reunited in 2006, will tour the US to mark the milestone.
Writing on their website, the group said: "To celebrate the band's 20th anniversary, Smashing Pumpkins will be playing select US cities in August and September of 2008.
"No dates or cities have been announced but expect the band to revisit a few specific places that were missed during the last US tour."

I took this photo from near the front of the crowd at V festival in Sydney.
The band was amazing and on fire as usual.

I felt like I was in the high school again when Smashing Pumpkins played my favorites songs.
Everybody sang 1979 with a broken voice.

smashing pumpkins was my first concert. i was literally about 15 feet from the stage when i took this picture :)

Oceansize's frontman - Mike Vennart. They opened for the great Smashing Pumpkins.
Their music was good but maybe there was some initial problem with the audio system at the O2 Arena - can't really hear and understand what he was singing. Good music though. =)

Smashing Pumpkins @ Auditorio Telmex in Guadalajara, Mexico. April 14th, 2008.
I was at the second level and a light bulb were between my camera lens and Billy Corgan.
An amazing concert, all the people who was ther that night knows that we were privileged by Corgan's music.
