SNL Letterman Video: SNL Mocks Letterman Extortion

TV comedians tend to target their jokes at politicians, movie stars and other high profile public figures. In the wake of the David Letterman extortion scandal, comedians turned their wit on one of their own. This week's edition of SNL featured a few jokes pointed at Letterman and his affair with former assistant Stephanie Burkitt. 

On SNL's Weekend Update segment, Seth Meyers referred to the alleged Letterman extortion attempt by CBS producer Joe Halderman as "a stupid human trick."

Meyers went on to note that Halderman told Letteramn would reveal certain secrets about Letterman's sex life such as, "after sex, he would always say, 'Stay tuned for Craig Ferguson."
