Saturday Night Live's November 7th episode saw Taylor Swift donning a brown wig and doing her best Bella impression opposite Bill Hader in the Twilight spoof "Firelight." The digital short spoof recaps popular scenes from the Twilight film in the form of a spoof trailer.

"Firelight" has Swift portraying a prototype of Kristen Stewart's Bella, "Stella," who falls for a Frankenstein monster. Enter "Philip" played by Bill Hader who channels Robert Pattinson's Edward from Twilight. Popular scenes from Twilight are recounted in the spoof such as the cafeteria scene where Stella sits with her school friends and watches in awe as her crush and his monster family do a zombie walk to their lunch table before letting their trays clatter and spill everywhere

Another scene has Swift and Hader situated in a biology class where the students ignite their Bunsen burners and chaos ensues as the "Frankenmonsters" are deathly afraid of fire (versus the blood-thirsty Twilight vampires who try to resist the humans in Twilight).

Another scene, which many found to be cheesy from the Twilight film, has Swift and Hader in the woods where she confronts him about being a Frankenstein monster. The over the top parody of  the emotional rollercoaster that is Bella and Edward's relationship received big laughs on Saturday night. The spoof bascially pokes fun at the dramatic side of Twilight and perhaps a few line deliveries made by Pattinson and Stewart in the original film.

Some fans speculate that Swift wanted to get involved in a Twilight spoof on SNL in order to help promote rumoured boyfriend Taylor Lautner's upcoming film: New Moon.
