Details Have Just Been Revealed of How Jersey Shore's Snooki Was Hospitalized During Season 2 For Suspected Alcohol Poisoining

It has been kept under wraps until now, but it has been revealed that Nicole Polizzi was hospitalized in Miami back in May and treated for suspected alcohol poisoning according to RadarOnline.

The Shore star was reportedly carried out of Miami's Dream nightclub because she was so drunk and had to be rushed to a local hospital where she underwent treatment for suspected alcohol poisoning. The incident occurred during the taping of the show that aired last Thursday on MTV, when Snooki was seen playing with JWoww and her boyfriend's feet when they are in the bed beside her.

That night was dubbed 'Fright Night' after Snooki also claimed Sammi Giancola attacked her and gave her a black eye.

It's not known the exact treatment Snooki underwent as a result of her excessive booze intake, but alcohol poisoning is often treated with stomach pumping or gastric lavage, where the stomach is washed out using a saline solution.

Snooki's rep has not commented on the incident and MTV has not released a statement.

RadarOnline reports that Snooki was in pain for two days and had to tone down her partying after this incident.

Snooki has already been arrested during the filming for season 3 for drunk and disorderly conduct.
