Snoop Dogg Busted for Possession

Snoop Dogg was arrested for marijuana possession after drug-sniffing dogs searched his tour bus in Texas. Snoop admitted to possessing roughly half an ounce of marijuana.

Snoop, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., was stopped in Sierra Blanca, Texas, at a border patrol checkpoint. TMZ points out that that's where Willie Nelson was busted in 2010.

Snoop Dogg had strong words for those who would prosecute Willie Nelson for smoking weed, and we can't help but wonder if the same officer was involved in Snoop's arrest.

Note that Snoop Dogg has a prescription to smoke pot, but Texas does not recognize marijuana prescriptions of any kind, from any state. In his guest spot on Dr. Dre's "Still D.R.E.", Snoop says, "Smoke some with your dogs"; one presumes that this is not what he had in mind.
