Martha Joy. Canadian Idol top 10, AMAZING.
First of all, I'd like to think I'm getting better at taking pictures of people. As in more confidence. but you also start noticing things that would have made a better picture. For instance, a more pushy backround colour would have made her stand out alot better, and added a more lively sense, plus if either her eyes were closed, looking directly forward, or looking at the camera. they add more of a commited feel to the picture.
I think a big part of photography is Figuring out this WHILE you are shooting, not 2 days after. But then again, being able to work with what you got is also a big part of photography too.
So when all is said and done I'm fairly pleased with this one.
Yebo: this is my candid. I used my 70-210 to blur out the background, while keeping the detail sharp and a tight crop.
