Rapper Soulja Boy Reportedly Bought a $55 Million Private Jet For His Birthday on July 28, 2011

Rapper Soulja Boy is shy about spending his money. TMZ is reporting that Soulja Boy celebrated his 21st birthday on July 28, 2011 by buying himself a private jet worth about $55 million.

As Gawker deftly points out, Forbes Magazine estimated Soulja Boy's 2010 income to be $6 million, a very healthy income, but not one that justifies a private jet. How exactly those numbers makes sense isn't exactly clear.

TMZ has all the details on the Soulja Boy private jet.

The jet cost $35 mil ... but that's just the beginning. We're told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff ... like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

On top of that, Soulja Boy is planning to spend $300,000 on his 21st birthday party in Miami.

Soulja Boy has a history of extravagant spending. Back in 2009, Soulja Boy showed off a Lamborghini chain that features a jewel-encrusted remote-control Lamborghini.
