Bill Reid first created this sculpture for the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC. This second casting was installed in the Vancouver International Airport in 1996.

Wolf is biting Eagle's wing (who in turn is biting Bear's paws - sorry, I didn't take a photo of that part). The character in the background is the Spirit of Haida Gwaii.
