MJ Day, senior editor of the SI Swimsuit Issue, said that music helped the models, photographers, and staffers get through the production process, so it was time to bring that music into the product itself. Sports Illustrated will also be hosting a two-day music event in Las Vegas: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Beauties & Beats, which will take place at Las Vegas' Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Sonic Youth predicted this back in 1992... with triple guitars, no less.
