“Spring Breakers” Stars Take Center Stage at Venice Film Festival

The 69th Venice Film Festival was buzzing tonight (September 5) thanks to the arrival of a hottie-laden flick titled “Spring Breakers.”

Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco, Rachel Korine and Ashley Benson all showed up at the Sala Grande venue for the star-studded affair, posing for the press before heading inside.

The new adventure comedy-drama is about four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation, only to find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.

Earlier in the day, the cast of "Spring Breakers" promoted their crazy new flick by showing up at a photo call in Venice, Italy.

“High School Musical” stunner Vanessa Hudgens was all smiles as she posed for the press outside the Palazzo del Casino in a beautiful white dress with black leaf overlay.

Hudgens was joined by gal pal/costar Selena Gomez, who garnered plenty of attention in her black and gold Versace getup with black strappy heels.

Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and James Franco also showed up for the promotional appearance ahead of the film’s big premiere.

While the lucky folks in Venice get to feast their eyes on the movie now, the rest of us will have to wait until it hits theaters in early 2013.
