Sri Lanka won the two-match series one-nil after the opening game ended in a draw, so they will be confident of securing another series victory in this three-match encounter. The Tigers will not go down without a fight though, as they showed in the Asia Cup last year.

That encounter in Dhaka saw the hosts win by five wickets, though Sri Lanka have by far the better win ratio overall, having lost only three times in 30 match-ups over the years.

Sri Lanka have rested some key personnel for the series, with premier spinner Rangana Herath granted a breather, while Mahela Jayawardene sits out as he has not fully recovered from an injury to his left middle finger.

Tillakaratne Dilshan is in the squad despite worries about his fitness, though latest reports indicate he should be fine to play. Meanwhile rookies Kushal and Angelo Perera could be given runs in the side.

For the Tigers, they will have to make do without Mashrafe Mortaza, Shafiul Islam, Nazmul Hossain and Naeem Islam, all of whom are injured. They have called up batsman Mohammad Ashraful though, after his century in the Test series.
