A statement of values that is most impressive!

Governments and organizations, whether profit making or not-for-profit, define and write up statement of values to their people and employees respectively that would shape and drive them forward disciplined. Of a number of statements of endurable values are, we are dependable, we are reliable, we value our customers, we are trustworthy, we are respectful are some.

A statement of values that most impresses me, if used by peoples of nations and/or organizations, is the biblical statement which says “we do for others as we wish others do unto us”. If this were not utopian in reality, how heaven could our world be? Unfortunately, the egoist nature of mankind cannot make this statement as realizable value. Man is by nature egoist but again man cannot achieve what s/he desires by doing it alone. What man fails to realize is the combined ‘my’ and ‘ours’ way of thinking which is the secret for achieving what is desired!
