They worked hard together and played even harder, and Steve-O is devastated by the loss of his buddy Ryan Dunn.

The "Jackass" star tweeted, "I don't know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I'm really going to miss  him."

Steve-O also noted that it wasn't surprising that Dunn was found to have a blood alcohol level of .196- way over the legal limit.

"We have never really hung out without a reason except to get loaded. If you're going to put yourself in a situation with people who aren't sober, you want to be able to have a real reason to be in that situation."

Meanwhile US Weekly reported that hundreds of mourners filled a West Chester, PA., funeral home on Wednesday (June 22) for a private memorial service to honor the late MTV star.

Among those spotted at the gathering were Dunn's best friend, Bam Margera, who attended along with wife Missy and parents Phil and April. Johnny Knoxville was also present, along with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney. (US Weekly)

Margera has taken the death of his co-star and friend particularly hard, as the two were as close as brothers.

On Monday (June 20) the "Jackass" actor flew from Arizona to Philadelphia to see the crash site. While doing an interview with the local FOX station, he broke down into tears over the loss of his friend.

Conveying his grief, Margera explained, "I've never lost anybody that I care about; he's my best friend." He also noted that Dunn "had so many things going for him... It's not right, it's not right."

An employee of the bar Dunn had been drinking at prior to the car crash told press, "He seemed like he was having a good time, hanging out with friends. [He] only had a couple beers here. As far as we're concerned, the  biggest thing, our hearts go out to the family and friends, and his loss is a big loss to our community. The biggest thing we're worried about is his friends and family."
