NP Rank:
Stewie Griffin is GAY!
Opinion

MAcFarlane stated to the Advocate that his Family Guy character baby Stewie Griffin os Gay.
Gee, Who saw that one coming out of the closet?
I guess Stewies Catch Phrase "Let's have a Sexy Party" complete with "Scantily Clad Jiggly Ladies" was his attempt to "Out" his older sister Meg?
As Seinfield once said "Not that there is anything wrong with that?"
Family Guy’ baby outed
Stewie Griffin, the talking baby on the animated hit Family Guy is an admitted homosexual.
When gay magazine, The Advocate, asked Seth MacFarlane, the show’s creator, which character gay fans respond to the most, MacFarlane replied: “Generally, Stewie, because he’s arguably the most complex character.”
But in recent episodes, Stewie’s sexuality has been questioned, so MacFarlane officially outed him to The Advocate.
“He originally began as this diabolical villain, but then we delved into the idea of his confused sexuality,” said MacFarlane. “We all feel that Stewie is almost certainly gay, and he’s in the process of figuring it out for himself.”
MacFarlane continued: “We haven’t ever locked into it because we get a lot of good jokes from both sides, but we treat him oftentimes as if we were writing a gay character.”
Okay, so first J.K. Rowling outed Dumbledore from the Harry Potter books, now cartoon baby Stewie. Who’s next?

I thought that it was a given. Still, Brian is my favorite character: a quitely desperate, Prius-driving, alcoholic housepet novelist.

I know, it is pretty sad that a housepet is the "Voice of Reason", my favourite Character is Quagmire. "Giggidy" I have a talking statue of him on my desk, my partner has Peter and one officer has Stewie, sometimes when we are bored we play Dueling Family Guy. Where one talks off the other. Juvenlie, of course, but whatta ya gonna do, eh?

But that's why Family Guy is so much fun: it's so unapologetically and unreconstructedly juvenile!

I dunno Jordan my Christian values prevent me from watching any Cartoon Programming with a Gay Character in it> I guess I will resign myself to watching the Wholesome Simpsons instead, That Smithers Guy, now there is a real Manly Man, a real Ladies man.

Really... you don't say... The musicals and My Fair Lady references were obscure, I grant you, but he's actually SAID on the show: 'wouldn't it be fabulous if I turned out to be a homosexual?'. I thought it was a given too. (*and I'd have to say that Lois rocks out as a drug addicted super model with a black belt. Very entertaining).

February 1st must've been a slow news day, eh? Seth McFarlane's been saying this for years.

I found stewie the most annoying character on the show straight from the beggining. First he was this lame diabolical baby planning world domination. A silly idea but this is a cartoon made directed at kids and those specially slow teens. Then they slowly turned him into a homosexual.

jorolda,
family guy is really not directed at kids at all. A kid might enjoy it for other reasons, but they wouldn't grasp even a fraction of the jokes.
A complete stranger to the series turning the show on one day might think that, but anyone who has even watched one full episode would disagree.
I would even put south park on a similar categorization. Looks as though its for kids, when really kids wouldn't even understand the humor behind it.
