After being summarily dismissed from his Velvet Revolver frontman duties last week, Scott Weiland is bouncing back with an STP reunion, 65 city tour, and potential new album.

But my favourite thing about this is Weiland's incredibly opaque and vague comment about it: "The story's not finished...there's more to be revealed and more to be told."

Um. Okaaaaaay...whatever you say, sketchy.

After a five-year breakup and nearly eight-year absence from the concert scene, Stone Temple Pilots will reunite for a North American tour.

On Monday, Singer Scott Weiland, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz revealed the details of their 65-city tour, set to begin May 17 in Columbus, Ohio.

"The story's not finished," Weiland told The Associated Press. "There's more to be revealed and more to be told."
