Harding Township is located in a beautiful rural area of Morris County, NJ.  The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is also nearby.

I was traveling through the township in October of last year and stopped at Bayne Park to take a leisurely walk around the pond. The park is located on Blue Mill Road and is part of New Vernon.

My eyes were attracted to the colorful autumn trees around Bayne Pond.  Having my camera in hand, I took some photographs of the beautiful trees.  It’s a lovely place for park visitors to get a breath of fresh air while driving through the surrounding area.

In any event, autumn has left us with a cold and snowy winter in New Jersey.  Hopefully 2011 will bring an early spring!
