Here's a typical New York businessman of sorts riding along the Lexington Avenue line on a northbound 6 train. I got him in the same exposure as the mariachi musicians I depicted earlier.
The Lexington Avenue line is one of the most heavily traveled lines in New York City, taking Upper East Siders to and from their jobs in Lower Manhattan. A Second Avenue line to relieve the congsetion on "the Lex" has been in the planning since LaGuardia was mayor, and they still can't get it built. :-(
They should never have torn down the Third Avenue El.
