I have fallen prey to a viral video of epic proportions, epically cute proportions. Surprised Kitty already has over 3 million views so apparently I was not 'in the know.' Shocking, I know, but my un-hipness is not important when compared to the video of which I speak: Surprised Kitty.

Legitimately, it's 17 seconds of a kitten being tickled then surprised when the owner pulls his hand away, complete with cute 'mew' sounds and laughter. IT'S ADORABLE, don't judge me. It's simple, pure, harmless fun; not like all them viral videos those kids watch these days with their sex tapes and their shitty Ashton Kutcher webisodes.

Cut the dinner table talk of the state of the world and the agenda-laden foundation of FOX News, gather round your computer screen with your, assumed, progressive, locally-grown-eating, iPhone-weilding, NPR-listening, John Stewart-loving, nuclear family and just watch Surprised Kitty. For those 17 seconds all will be well, no woes over your Republican office cohorts heckling you about voting for Obama because he wanted "change," all is well.
