Susan Boyle, who rose to fame on the reality show Britain's Got Talent, and who is now recovering from exhaustion and perhaps a mental breakdown in North London's Priory Clinic, may not be well enough to take part in the Britain's Got Talent arena tour that starts next Friday.

Thousands of tickets have already been sold, but as Susan is still in hospital, is not confirmed at this point to be a part of the tour.Organisers are expressing concern that people will want their money back if she doesn't perform.

A show source told The Sun: "We are working on a day-by-day basis here. This is about someone's health and future."

He said the chances of Susan making the early dates were "very slim indeed", but she may manage later shows.

Judge Amanda Holden, 38, insisted the singer had "no underlying mental issues" and was simply exhausted.

Cultural Secretary Any Burnham however, said better care is needed for people after the intense process of being on such a hyped show.
The channel ITV is not going to hold an inquiry into whether Susan should not have been allowed to go on stage for the final, but rules may be changed for future shows such as Britain's X Factor.

I think they should have some good counsellors on staff, with the power to take a contestant of the show if so needed.

Further they need to take care of the medical and follow up expenses if any are reacquired.

I agree, considering we are seeing more and more of this as there are so many reality shows now, I think more rules and precautions need to be set in place to take care of these people. They probably don't have any idea what they are getting themselves in to.
