Britain does indeed 'got' talent, as unlikely pop singer Susan Boyle proved last weekend, with her heart-wrenching rendition of the soaring Les Miserables tune "I Dreamed a Dream" on the hit UK television show Britain's Got Talent.

Boyle's tear-inducing performance has becoming a massive online hit in the span of a few short days. With help from Twitter and the blogosphere, views of the YouTube clip with Boyle's performance quickly skyrocketed past the 5,600,000 mark.

If you have yet to see this never-been-kissed songstress do her thing, now's the time.

You're due for a cry, aren't you.

what does "embedding disabled by request" mean?

Amy Judd

It means the person that posted it on YouTube does not allow the video to be embedded on another site, for whatever reason.

Why would you upload a video that can  be seen on TV by millions then block it, strange.

Bravo, I dreamed a dream is a very difficult song to sing. She made it all look so easy as the echoes of her beautiful voice stunned us all. She has proved that great idol looks have nothing on real talent she shone through like a beacon light. A true Star is born. I wish her awe raa best.

I'm one of these people who don't have a TV (yeah it happens) so I don't watch the program but I read about it in a newspaper a few days ago and had a look on you tube for the clip, she was indeed rather good.

Good luck to her, I'm very sure she'll have the whole of Scotland and the UK behind he when she moves on in the competition.

What a wonderful voice that woman has!  Her appearance and the judges' first reaction bring to mind Jazzyzazzy's recent story - Plastic Fantastic Oh the Pain

I think Simon Cowel's face said it all as it transformed.

This lady is AWESOME, and YES, her magnificent voice does bring tears to one's eyes!  I pray that she will be the topmost winner that Simon has ever rated!  As for her looks, it certainly wouldn't take much to form her into a beautiful lady!

I was in awe hearing Susan's voice, she is awesome.  I also heard her sing "Cry me a river" on You tube, it was also awesome.
