Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins Split, Reactions to their Break-Up

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins announced that they had split during the summer yesterday after 23 years together.

The pair were what many considered a Hollywood power couple and the reactions to their break-up have been mostly 'what?' It appears that many people thought they were one of the few long lasting couples in Hollywood and they seemed to be so in tune with each other that most thought they would never break up .

On Twitter the reactions seem to be one of disbelief and sadness, even for a celebrity couple most never knew. 

There have been few celebrity reactions released about Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins breaking up. Most celebrites probably don't want to jinx their own relationship if such a long standing one can be broken up.
