Swift Justice with Nancy Grace, a pilot was filmed just last week for the upcoming show featuring everyone's favourite missing caucasian child pundit Nancy Grace in a Judge Judy-esque role, gavel and all.

CBS Television Distribution has signed an exclusive development deal with Grace, who normally appears nightly on CNN's HLN channel, to create a daily half-hour show.

A pilot for "Swift Justice with Nancy Grace" was shot last week, with hopes that it will be on-air in syndication by next fall, reports Broadcasting & Cable.

While details about the series are being kept under wraps, it will center around the former lawyer and best-selling author's personality, with emphasis on her outspokenness and strong opinions.

Unfortunately, for the time being Grace has no plans of resigning from her nightly, self-titled HLN show.

Is it just me or does it seems just a bit ludicrous to cast a foolishly outspoken and opinionated TV personality in a role that requires her to judge people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and ideologies? Sure, she got her start as a prosecutor but I think it's fair to say that her fame, baseless as it may be, has gone to her head. I mean come on, her cable show is less about the topics of debate, most likely a missing white kid, and more about her blatant, publicity hungry antics.

Grace infamously stirred up controversy when she, shocking, had Elizabeth Smart (missing white kid) on her program and pestered the then 19 year-old abductee about what it was like to see out of the burqa her abductors forced her to wear to which Smart said, "I'm really not going to talk about this at this time. ...to be frankly honest, I really don't appreciate you bringing all this up." That's when Nancy shamelessly put herself atop a high horse and replied, "I'm sorry, dear, I thought that you would speak out to other victims, but you know what, I completely understand."

I say nay, nay Nancy Grace; no gavel for you. Get some class, get over yourself, and give it up. Isn't it enough to be an icon and the archetype for all those stubborn, psuedo-independent yet completely illiberal, right-winged, stay at home Texan mothers? What more do you want?
