The land of Chocolate and Secret Bank accounts, have dismissed 8 of 10 Cantons proposed by the Swiss Peoples Party (SVP) proposal that naturalisation of immigrants be decided by the community where the immigrant resides.

One of the 18 proposals still undecided is the immediate deportation of immigrants who have been convicted of committing crimes in Switzerland.  This proposal was brought on by Swiss citizens  of the SVP tired of  rampant immigrant criminal activity in their communities.

It is, some believe, perhaps a way of barring any non white immigrant into this idyilic country.

Though the Swiss certainly do not have a problem accepting Third World Dictators ill gotten money into Swiss Banks. Third World money which was stolen from World Aid Organizations for a Dictators future retirement in case things get a little sticky in their own country and they need to make a Hasty Retreat.

To date, many Third World Dictators have opulent homes in Switzerland or their Children and families reside and go to private schools there, all paid for with World Aid money meant for their starving countrymen, who dining experiences consist of bugs, disease and death.

ZURICH Reuters Published: Sunday, June 01, 2008-- Swiss voters have rejected a controversial proposal to give individual communities the authority to award Swiss passports, early results indicated on Sunday.

The first eight cantons to publish results have all rejected a proposal by the Swiss People's Party (SVP) that the naturalisation of immigrants be decided by a popular vote in the commune where the immigrant lives.

This procedure was banned five years ago after a number of communities repeatedly blocked passport applications.

The SVP plastered the country with yellow and black hands grabbing at Swiss passports and sent out literature detailing various crimes committed by immigrants who had been granted Swiss citizenship in the run up to the referendum.

The results of the remaining 18 cantons will be released throughout Sunday.

Then why do they let in and protect the 'big-time' criminals ? Oh, I get it. It's all about the money.

Thanks Liam for dropping by and the GS Flag

I do hope more comment on this story, as I feel it is an issue that should be discussed.

One aspect that makes sense in all this with the Swiss, is passing a instant deportation law against criminals.

Certainly a law whose time has come, especially in Canada and North America.

Thanks Cynthia for the flag and comments, hard to believe, when they gladly accept criminals cash, yet deport the poorer immigrants who commit crimes. If it were me, rich or poor, I would tell them "You're Outta Here on the next plane!
