T.I. Back out of Jail

Rapper T.I. is back out of jail, and on his way back to the halfway house. The same halfway house from which he had been sent back to jail the other week.

T.I. had been sent back to prison after authorities decided that they had a problem with the rapper's tour bus. Even the halfway house staff thought that sending T.I. back to jail was dumb.

T.I. will remain at the halfway house until September 29, and then will be on parole for another year. Tour buses shouldn't be an issue.

Here's the "T.I. in and out of jail" timeline:

  • August 31, 2011: T.I. released from jail to a halfway house
  • September 1: T.I. sent back to jail, ostensibly for the rest of his sentence
  • September 15: T.I. released again, to stay at the halfway house until September 29, when his sentence ends.

So, is T.I. in prison now? No. Hopefully he'll stay that way.

Good!  Now T.I. needs to stay out and make some new music.
