T.I. & Wife Tameka Cottle Arrested in West Hollywood

Hip-hop artist T.I. and his wife, Tameka Cottle, were arrested after police smelled marijuana coming from the Maybach sports car in which they were traveling. However, West Hollywood Police did not specify the drug for which T.I. and Tameka Cottle were arrested.

T.I., born Clifford Harris, Jr, is currently on probation after serving seven months in jail for weapons possession. Tameka Cottle, also known as Tiny, was a member of Xcape, and more recently one of the stars of The Tiny and Toya Show.

Both T.I. and Tiny were booked at the West Hollywood sheriff's station on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, and bail was set at $10,000 each. Deputy Jeff Gordon confirmed on Thursday morning (September 2) that both had posted bail around 4 a.m

Come on now. The Police made sure that Ti was gonna go back to jail. He should have known to keep his guard up, but Tiny tooo.. come on B 4 real. they are trying to distroy this man, his family and his Image

The article clearly states the oficer smelled marijuana, being a cop myself that gives you consent to search a vehicle, but the article never states that he found any drugs on the man, his wife, or inside the car. So why were they detained?
