T-Pain: 'I'm Giving Up Autotune'

T-Pain told AllHipHop that he is no longer going to use Autotune, which, when abused, gives singers that robot-Cher voice. T-Pain said that he was done with Autotune for good, and that he's going to bring his fans something new: "the T-Pain Effect".

We thought that Antares Software's Autotune was the T-Pain Effect, but no: he's partnering with a company called Izotope to develop a new vocal processing tool. Cue trepidation.

Perhaps the long Autotune nightmare is over; we dare to dream. Do you burrr-leeeeeeeev in life after Autotune?
