Oh, thank you, AT&T, for deigning to sell the iPhone online to New York's deserving citizenry. First, though, you called New York a teeming den of thieves and fraudsters, but not before you called them residents of a network-weak state. AT&T, you can get away with many things (since you're the evil empire), but messing with New York ain't one of them. Then again, screwing with the iPhone isn't such a clever move, either.

What, you think that little exclusivity deal with Apple will last forever? When it runs out, you can do a little by-bye wave to relevance.

AT&T’s decision to resume iPhone sales in the NYC area likely means one of two things: Either the company solved the fraud problem or (more likely) it wanted to get out of the negatively cast spotlight.

Oh, and AT&T? You suck.
