Talaash Movie Review - Aamir Khan | Kareena Kapoor | Rani Mukerji
When I met Aamir Khan for a personal interview, he mentioned that ‘Talaash’ is about coming to terms with a personal loss. Emotional, to the core, Aamir Khan’s latest outing is a supernatural suspense drama that leaves you with a lump in your throat. Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar try to tell a story that despite being intriguing would only appeal to a niche audience.
Super star Armaan Kapoor (Vivan Bhatena) loses his life in a mysterious car accident. Inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Aamir Khan) is assigned the task to solve this high profile case. Suspense builds up as Rosie (Kareena Kapoor), a sex worker comes across as being suspiciously involved as she always seems to have the right clues that take Shekhawat closer to his Talaash (search). A parallel track takes a deep dive in Shekhawat’s personal life as he and his wife Roshni (Rani Mukerji) are struggling to cope up with a personal loss.
