Taylor Swift Nazi Swastika Photo Scandal: Jew Hater? (Photo)

Taylor Swift is not one to usually be the in the middle of controversy (except for that Kanye West thing), but a photo has popped up on the internet of the 19-year-old singer with her arm around AJ English, a fan, who is wearing a t-shirt with a swastika on it and Taylor Swift is smiling.

Even though she isn't the one wearing the symbol, the issue appears to be with the fact that she is in the picture.

Cue the Nazi Swastika photo scandal.

See the photo of Taylor Swift with AJ English

A video GossipDiarys has made of the incident

During Katy Perry's birthday party in West Hollywood last weekend, 19-year-old Swift put her arm around a guy wearing a Nazi swastika -- a symbol of hate, murder and evil -- and smiled for a photograph.

There has also been talk that the 'JH' on Taylor's dress stands for Jew Hater, but it most likely stands for Julianne Hough, who had 'TS' on her outfit for Taylor Swift. Why they painted each other's initials on their outfits is not known.

Taylor Swift's rep said that she took so many photos with people that night that she didn't realize what was on the man's shirt.

AJ English has said that Taylor maybe didn't see the symbol on his shirt, which started out as an 'X' but was 'perveted' in to a swastika, but insists he does not support Nazis or Nazism. He has apologized to the singer.

She should take this error in judgment very seriously and publicly appologize.   She should then visit the Holocaust memorial museum. There's enough hate in the world, Taylor this is a teaching moment, admit mistake and Spread some Love. Best wishes for continued success in your career darlin, -jimi genius

Don't take things so seriously she didn't do anything wrong the kid with the Nazi sign did.

Wow seriously? What does she have to apologize for? Last time I check she wasn't running around with a Swastika on her shirt yelling "kill the jews!!". She took a picture with a guy who had one on his shirt. Why is he not getting blasted for this? She is the one getting in trouble for it when she didn't even do anything! Oh no! She took a picture with someone! :O She's a celebrity she does this about 42,000 times a day. Does she seriously need to take a look at what each one of them is wearing and make sure it is appropriate to take a picture with them? Ridiculous. She has absolutely nothing to apologize for.

Screw that. Taylor doesn't have to apologize.

That's the thing with people nowadays. Apologize to fix their image. She was at a party and was having fun and took a picture with the guy. Worst case scenario? She hates jews. How does that affect you?

Taylor Swift is an idiot along with the guy in the photo! It is a sign of hate and thousands of people lost there lives, how do you not know this? She don't have to apologize for her actions but she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed either!

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

Why in the hell should she apologize. Its not her fault this happened. For doing nothing more than take a photo with some guy she should take a visit to the holocaust museum and publicly apologize !???Fuck you and your outragous political correctness !!

I agree that she may not need to apologize but, a public announcement (in my opinion) should be made. Not to apologize, but to explain the mishap, because for all we know this site could have got the story wrong. Not the Taylor Swift is a media proclaimed "JH", but a explanation from Taylor Swift in public would be more believable.

Thanks for sharing. She should educate herself on what happened during the Hitler years in Europe. Many people lost their lives because of that symbol of hate and people in the USA and other parts of the world treat it as a "status symbol" when in reality, it is synonymous with hate.

Your an idiot it is not synonymous with hate.  Its actually a symbol of peace.  The nazi's used it as hate, which doesn't change its meaning.  You are also an idiot for think she did something wrong, she took a picture with someone she doesn't know, she is not responsible for his actions .  Also she should avoid her fans just because of what they believe (even if hate).  Thats like saying she should also avoid christians cause of the crap they've done in the past.  Next time think before ranting.

Your all dumb if you think she did something wrong.

It looks like a big red Swastika is cool and fun to taylor swift, some young people  and some people here. Hello, that sign is equal genocide, hate and murder.  I think most of us forget about that. That taylor swift photo is sick. I think being drunk or smoking is way better than being no commone sense or sympathy to human life.

You do realize that she wasn't the one wearing it right?

Who cares who is the one to  wear it or what is the underline story. It is the matter that that photo/image-- just like making a movie-- all those moving pictures give us ideas/feelings--who cares what the actors or actresses really were thinking when they acted in front of cam. Big smile with " JH" in Taylor Swift shirt combined with arm around a guy with a big red Swatika on his shirt-- that alone is sick  and provoked. No excuse being dump like her.

JH could possibly stand for Jew Hunter.

Are we that base a society that we intend to judge someone's motives, intentions, or prejudicial biases based solely on the proximate appearance of a symbol. The Swastika is a horrible symbol, but we cannot assume that Ms.Swift condones what it means by a photo taken out of context in which she is not even the person displaying the symbol.  I am not entirely informed of Ms.Swift's beliefs on Tolerance, but I am sure she could not get as far as she has without picking up along the way the common sense to not voluntarily appear with such a symbol, even if she does support its meaning. In recent years it has become marginally acceptable for African Americans, a race I proudly belong to, to casually use another term associated with oppression, the N word. Perhaps, somehow AJ English, a practitioner of the Jewish faith himself, feels it is acceptable for him to display this symbol in parody of the demise and idiocy of those who once bore it. However he more likely employed it in in trying to gain publicity for himself by getting a picture of Ms.Swift and himself together.

It's a shot at Kanye. Double obvsies with a side of "duh". "Taylor did nothing wrong". Pfft...yeah right. She's like the posterchild for the Aryan nation with the blond hair/blue eyes thing.Wow. This almost makes me like her. A little.

It's a crowded party, and she's seeing peoples faces, not their chests. Also, she's extremely myopic without her glasses, and with that big red splotch between the upper arms of the red swastika, it would have looked like a big red blur to her if she noticed it at all.

From what it looks like, Taylor just wants to be the nice girl. The girl that everyone likes. Therefore, she'll except anyone as they are. To an extent that is a good thing -- but every once in a while there will a person that is trash, and evidently not worth a second look. And if Taylor has a backbone, or any character, this incident would have been the time to show it. Also, the nazi sign is huge. If she missed it, she must be blind!

You do realize that post-holocaust, that was a symbol of peace, balance, and nature..?

@ crime and punishment"Taylor Swift is an idiot along with the guy in the photo! It is a sign of hate and thousands of people lost there lives, how do you not know this? She don't have to apologize for her actions but she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed either!"I think you are the one that needs to do some research as around 6 million Jews were killed by the Hitler and his Nazi Regime.  And that is not counting the other 4-11 million others that the Regime killed.  So all together Hitler and the Nazi Regime killed somewhere between 11 and 17 million people. The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. For about 3,000 years before Hitler came along this was a happy symbol of good and the celebration of life that predates even the Egyptian Ankh!Yes Hitlers Regime used it and turned it on it's side.  But does Taylor have anything to apologize for?  No, no she does not.  I'm I offended by the picture?  Not even a little bit.  If anything I think people making a big deal about this are the ones that should be apologizing.  It's your bigotry that can't let this go.  She has never once expressed a hatred or even a dislike of Jews.  This is clearly an honest mistake on her part.  Flame the man in the shit all you want.  But don't attack the kid just because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.Get over yourselves.

Ignorant priveliged christian needs to take this more seriously. My ancestors are dead because of this symbol of hate and she has never had to deal with anything gruesome or dramatic in her perfect whitey - bitch life. Not to mention her music sucks and shes ugly as fuck. Piss off white trailer trash bitch and learn some respect for less fortunate people.

uuhhh the jews aren't less fortunate, in fact they are the ones killing thousands in gaza which has been going on longer than the world war. Now i'm not defending her i hate her too, all im saying is think before you speak.

I am a jew and no offense but i find this rather offensive. She didn't need to apologize but really, i think she should have thought about what was on her and what on the man's shirt. I'm sure she won't make that mistake again.
