My condolences to Teena's family, I am one of her biggest fan's I will miss her

Teena Marie was so special to me and will be missed all around the world i remember this 1 particular hit young love will stay with me till i die and the Jazz festival in Philadelphia on Ogontz ave I'm so sorry she had to leave us I can't believe I mean songs like fire&desire bring tears to your eyes make you wanna have a baby her voice completely outstanding white girl black girl latino she was inspirational I'm terribly hurt

My deepest condolences go out to Tina's family. She was so loved for who she was, and for the gift she shared with us. Her music. She will forever be in my heart. I will miss her.

Teena Marie was my favorite singer and will alwyas be. It gave me the chills when I heard of her death. She had the best voice ever. My heart goes out to her family and fans.

To hear of such sad news was devastating and so surprising and my heart goes out to her daughter and the rest of the family. Teena Marie, another great singer gone home to be with the lord, at such an young age(54). We do not know our final hours on earth, so please lets not take life for granted, we are not guaranteed a second chance but God gave Teena another chance to put more music out here for us, so lets represent for Ms. Teena Marie!!!!!!!

She's been my favorite artist for 30 years.  I wanted to pierce my nose in the 6th grade.  I bothered my mom about it every year until she threatened to kick me out of the house.  Finally when I turned 18 I did it.    And that my friends was way before it became a fad.  Thank you Lady T!!! I play her old music as if it were brand new.  I will continue to play her music for the next 30.  RIP Lady T, you will never forgotten.

I am very glad that she shared her gift with the world. We never know when the Lord will call us home. I hope she is in heaven, leading some songs. What an incredible singer. I adored her voice.

Teena Marie will be truly missed in the music industry. When her older music comes on at a club everybody sings. Teena Marie was a bad ass white girl who had mad vocals. My heart goes out to her daughter and other family members. RIP Teena
