Terry Lubbock will see Michael Barrymore perform in Survining Spike at the openening of the Edinburgh Fringe 62nd Festival at the Assembly Music Hall George Street Edinburgh on the 31 July 2008. Mr Lubbock who lost his son Stuart at entertainer Michael Barrymore's home in 2001, will travel from his home in Harlow Essex to see Michael Barrymore perform at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. Terry Lubbock has managed a high profile campaign to get to the truth in his son Stuart Lubbock's tragic death.
Mr Lubbock has registered a memorial with Attorney General Baroness Scotland. He is awaiting a reply for his request for a New Coroners inquest due to new evidence in his son Stuart's case. In 2002 Essex Coroner Mrs Beasley-Murray recorded an Open Verdict. Terry Lubbock said today: " I will not stop until I find the truth in my son Stuart's death." Mr Lubbock urged all who had any information on the horrific events, of 31 March 2001 at entertainer Michael Barrymore's former home to come forward to the police.

I admire you so much for continuing to find Justice for what happened to your son. Pray that you are given the strength to carry on as long as it takes. I cannot believe it has taken this long and it's a disgrace.
PS....Ignore the Guntrip....a case of Care in the Community failing I'm afraid.

It's been years and Essex Police have still not been able to charge anyone for the rape and murder of Stuart Lubbock by gay men at Barrymore's party. How difficult can it be? The police know who the gay men are, charge the bloody lot of them with the murder if none of them will talk. The Lubbock family have been through enough grief, whilst Michael Barrymore appears to be full of self-pity for his lost career and obviously wants this case forgotten about and swept under the carpet ,so he can try to rebuild his ruined career with stage appearances.
Fans like Christine Guntrip give Barrymore false hope that the public will accept him back on TV again. WRONG.
Keep on fighting Terry, the public are behind you all the way. We want justice for your family, and the scum that raped and murdered your son to be severely punished. God Bless the Lubbocks.

I would just like to say that I hope that Terry gets closure on this and I hope he gets it soon. It so obvious that Barrymore knows more than he lets on. Otherwise why did he run away? from what I can see you are doing it in the right way so good on ya mate.

Mr Lubbock, thoughts are with you as I know your health is not too good, may you find justice for Stuart, you have many people behind you. I am glad Barrymore has no career, he lost the rights to that when this nasty deed happened at his house.
