"Thanks for The Help," Barack and Hillary Forced to Withstand Pastor, Husband
Sometimes every human being asks, “What was I thinking?”
Hillary Clinton got to be the Governor’s wife, then the President’s wife. She lived in the White House and scampered from sniper fire. But deep down inside she wants to be more than the Senator from New York. She believes she is called by a Higher Power and to a Higher Office.
Her mate and Helper in Chief is there for her. The man that made Monica Lewinski a household name has again displayed his unique form of judgment on the Hillary for President campaign trail.
Again and Again.
Andrea Billups wrote in The Washington Times on Sunday, April 27, 2008, “Mr. Clinton’s anger has been on frequent display during his wife’s presidential campaign this year, and some are wondering if what was supposed to be Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s biggest campaign asset may actually sabotage her candidacy.”
Ms. Billup’s observation of the former President of the United States was this: “It starts with his hand rising, and then the index finger begins to wag. But reporters know they are in the midst of a Bill Clinton eruption when his face quickly turns a shade of crimson, moving to purple when he’s really getting hot and in the throes of a high-minded scolding.”

Then there is the Very Reverend Jeremiah Wright Jr., famous for his “God damn America” “sermon.”He’s now doing a victory lap just for the media and, apparently, himself. One finds it hard to fathom that any other single person would ask him to do what he is now doing.
Rev. Wright went to PBS for an interview. He blamed some nefarious “devious” characters for what exactly? Showing videos of his “sermons”?
Here is man, like many his age, that needs a tutorial on U-Tube. Along with a tutorial on “appropriate” conduct of all kinds. In America today, you are what you say. We take you at your word. And over and over again on U-Tube.

Ask Macaca Master and former Senator George Allen.![]()

referring to him as “Macaca.”
Verbally, Senator Obama, a 20 plus year participant in Rev. Wright’s church and a big financial contributor, has changed, er, SET the record straight. He has, as they say in modern American politics, “distanced himself” from the good Reverend.

Obama on Friday March 14, 2008 denounced inflammatory remarks from his pastor, who has railed against the United States and accused the country of bringing on the Sept. 11 attacks by spreading terrorism.(AP Photo/Trinity United Church of Christ)

OK.
Last night Mr. Wright not only addressed the NAACA – he was photographed enjoying the moment with Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit. Nothing wrong with that. But there is an old rule in politics that concerns taking care who you cavort with. Mr. Kilpatrick has been charged with eight felonies including perjury, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office – which included, allegedly, a long physical relationship with a staff assistant and thousands of amorous text messages.

The cavorting by the Mayor of Detroit turned into, allegedly, carnal knowledge on public time. Which meant all involved felt compelled to lie. Which is a felony, in this situation.
No wonder he needs a good Reverend. And a good lawyer.
Today Mr. Wright said he was available to be a Vice presidential candidate.
Lord have mercy!
Then Mr. Wright appeared at the National Press Club and completely enjoyed the attention.
Fox News contributor and PBS radio talker Juan Williams said his performance reminded him of a grade school boy making argument in the school yard.

Go figure.
I live in the Vietnamese-American community. Yesterday I asked a former long-term veteran of the communist prison system about his experience. The answer? "Not happy."
I asked him about those that beat and tortured him. The answer? "Not polite."
I asked him about Reverend Wright. The answer? "Not helping."
Yes, as May 2008 begins to dawn, it dawned on us that one might imagine someone named Barack and someone named Hillary muttering, “What was I thinking?”
Or maybe just, "Not helping."
