She disappeared at the age of 8 and was presumed dead by all and sundry until she popped seemingly out of nowhere 18 years later. Her family were over joyed but they knew that it wa not going to be easy! The little girl they'd feared dead was now a woman who when she resurfaced could only grunt other than her three word vocabulary of: mother; father; and stomachache. Of course adjusting to modern contemporary society was never going to be easy even one as laid back as their village far removed from the big city and all that goes with it: continuous incessant noise, constant motion, paucity of animals etc. Even so the adjustment in the village for 27 year old Ro Cham H'pnhieng was harrowing so much so that her parent's biggest fear has come true...she has run back to the jungle where she truly feels at home!
