Tiger Woods Apology Video Draws Nearly 700,000 Viewers
The Tiger Woods apology video, streamed live over every video medium known to humankind, has been watched by over 700,000 people, not counting the copied versions. That's a webful of schadenfreude. Seriously, though- anybody reading this could have predicted with almost certain accuracy exactly what Tiger Woods was going to say.
I didn't predict the Buddhist bit, though. Did you know Tiger Woods was Buddhist? I didn't. Does he know Richard Gere? Or Steven Seagal? Do they have an opinion on this press conference? Maybe, but so far nothing public.
(Oh, and I also don't believe that Elin Nordegren didn't totally kick his ass with a golf club. Maybe because that's what I would have done if I was in her designer shoes)

I listened to his apology tonight and it did not seem genuine. The fact that he had to read from something scripted made me question his honesty. I believe the only thing he is sorry for is his loss of sponsorship and the fact that he got caught. I do not ever think he can be a man of integrity.

I didn't feel it was particularly genuine either. And how long would this have gone on for without the sponsors finding out?

To be honest with you i trully felt his apology was genuine. I agree with Tiger that whatever happpened in the past is between him and his wife, that's how it needs to be. I look at how many times we have sin and God has forgiven us 70 x 7 when translated this means "all the time". Tiger will heal from the damaged he has caused his marrige, family and fans. He has taken the spirtual and physical steps to get where his heart wants to be. Time heals all things and with time this entire thing will behind him. As Tiger and his wife move forward it is my prayer that God save his marrige and restore to him the things he has so easily allowed the devil to steal, and that is his Love for his sport, wife, family and trust that he so needs in this hour. Tiger i have accepted your apology.

People have affairs everyday. I do not for the life of me understand how any of them are our business. He shouldn't have had to apologize to the American public. Any apologies made should have been to his wife and family. Not us. It is weird to me how America thinks that everything is their business, but when it is time to help other people in times of crisis, the same people who are standing around judging everyone else are just standing around. Blah. Sorry Tiger, for being a nosey country with nothing better to do.
