Tiger Woods says that he will return to Buddhism after the statement today to the media. He said that he was the one that needed to change and that while he has a lot of work to do, he will be looking to his Buddhist roots to help get him through that.

"Buddhism teaches me to stop following every impulse and to know restraint. Obviously I lost track of what I was taught."

It was Brit Hume who encouraged Tiger Woods to turn to Christianity to help him 'find forgiveness for his infidelity.' Hume siad that Tiger "needs something that Christianity, especially, provides and gives and offers."

It does not appear that Woods will be taking Hume's advice as he plans to revist his Buddhist faith to help him through this difficult time. He recently strayed from his Buddhist roots but will look again to those values to help him reconnet with his family and maybe return to his sport.
