Tila Tequila has quit Twitter! The queen of self-promotion has abandoned the ubiquitous social networking service due to a constant barrage of negative tweets pointed her way. Seriously, Tila Tequila's twitter account is actually gone. I thought it was just an empty threat. Your loyal Truemorist is no stranger to the occasional splash of haterade, but this must have been some next-level vitriol. People were following Tila Tequila just to dis her. That's kind of petty, actually: if you don't like someone, don't follow them. Simple, no? 

The constant Tila dissing may be kind of mean, but, on the other hand, if you're famous for self-promotion and serial MTV bisexual reality shows, you have to expect some sort of pushback. After all, Tila Tequila is only famous because of social media, and it has always been a two-way street. Maybe achieving the lofty heights of one-way broadcast has spoiled her.

Before kicking Twitter to the curb, Tila Tequila said, "My true fans know where to find me", which is true: Youtube, Facebook, MySpace, MTV...
