Tina Knowles Beyonce's Mom Files For Divorce From Matthew Knowles

Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mom, has reportedly filed for divorce from Beyonce's father and her husband of 29 years, Matthew Knowles.

In early October a report came out that Matthew Knowles had fathered a baby by a woman named Alexsandra Wright, and she claimed she was six months pregnant with his baby at the time. There has been no reports that Alexsandra Wright has given birth to the baby, but she must be due any day now. There have been no statements made to prove that this is the reason the divorce was filed.

Tina Knowles reportedly filed the papers last month in Texas.

Both parents have played a pivotal role in Beyoncé's career, with Mathew quitting his job at IBM nearly 20 years ago to begin managing the singer's early group, Girl's Tyme, which eventually morphed into Destiny's Child

Tina Knowles is one of the principal stylists at the House of Dereon that she launched with Beyonce in 2004 and she has also designed many of her daughter's early costumes.

The Knowles family has not released a statement on the divorce.
