American Idol 2010 Chicago: Brian Krause does Tiny Tim - Tip toes off the stage

First there was Pants on the Ground, and now we had Tiny Tim Tiptoe Through the Tulips sung by military man Brian Krause.

Brian came on looking kind of meek and very polite and said that he would always sing when he was away serving in the military because 'the army is kind of depressing'.

Well, the judges were a little shocked when he opened his mouth to sing Tiny Tim Tiptoe Through the Tulips and then he proceeded to actually tiptoe around the stage area.

The judges said no though - Brian said he wanted to go home and slip in to a nice warm bath and calm his thoughts. Check out the video of Brian singing on American Idol.

Tiny Tim was a singer from the 1960s who married Miss Vicky on the Tonight Show hosted by Johnny Carson in 1969. Sadly they divorced after eight years, but their daughter Tulip Victoria still lives in Pennsylvania.

The funny thing is, if I remember correctly he 'sang' the song quite accurately to the original airing by Tiny Tim...

I found the original and added the footage above, you have to check it out! The poor guy was actually pretty bang on despite the rather awkward tiptoeing.
