Toby Keith is "As Good As He Ever Was"

Nashville Songwriting Association International had voted country singer, Toby Keith, songwriter/artist of the decade. Keith will be honoured on Oct. 18 for his hits Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American), "As Good As I Once Was" Who's your Daddy" and God Love Her."

In an award for a songwriter only, Craig Wiseman has been named songwriter of the decade for hits such "The Good Stuff" by Kenny Chesney, "Believe" by Brooks & Dunn, "Summertime" by Kenny Chesney and "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw.

Keith was chosen by his fellow songwriters.
